If you have at least a year to spare and want to see London, England unfortunately, this may not be enough time to see it all. No matter what your tastes are, you will find it in London. London is the ultimate blend of classical and modern. There are over 100 art galleries and daily events throughout the year. There are some beautiful churches such as St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abby. You may want to visit the Queen at Buckingham Palace or view the changing of the guards.

 

There are gorgeous inns with breath taking scenery such as St. James and Hyde Park. The Park of Holland has a beautiful Japanese Garden and features Opera House, which are worth visiting.

 

Street after street there is a galore of shops and galleries to visit. If you stroll along the avenue near Covent Garden you might come across some street performers who will try to get your attention and amuse you with their talents and abilities.

 

Have you considered trying an ostrich patty for lunch? Borough market, which dates back a thousand years, is full of fine dining experiences such as ostrich burgers and other appetizing delights. The market offers a fun filled experience as is busy and noisy, full of people who anxiously barter and sell their fresh produce and handcrafted items.

 

With all of this traveling, you are sure to be hungry, and may want to visit a west end pub. Afterwards you can take in a Broadway show. Many of the shows begin in London before moving on to New York.

 

Oh, the museums! What a rare treat! The Victoria and Albert Museums are named after 19th century Queens. Also make sure not to miss the history and science museums. Each of the museums could easily take you a day to travel through and you still would not see it all.

 

The world renowned Tate Art Museum features famous 20th century artists such as Picasso, Matisse and others. The London Eye features one of the world's largest ferris wheels, as well as boat rides with a gondola that offers beautiful scenic views. And do not miss the view of Big Ben and the Thames River.

 

All in all, if you are planning a trip to London, make sure you make a schedule ahead of time so that you are able to see it all. At the very least, you can try!
